For testing, your web application might be protected using (HTTP Basic) authentication, prompting you to enter a username and password to access the site.
Ghostlab can help you in this case (only if HTTP Basic Authentication is used, though): you can add the username and password in Ghostlab so it sends the credentials to the server and doesn’t prompt you in the actual browsers any longer.
To do this,
- go to the Site Settings and locate the HTTP Headers section in the advanced settings section;
- click Add Auth Header at the bottom of the table;
- a new row will appear with “Username” and “Password” fields to the right; enter your credentials there.
