  3. Ghostlab: Troubleshooting
  4. Why isn’t my browser showing up when I’m using HTTPS?

If Ghostlab serves your content via HTTPS (i.e., HTTPS is activated in Preferences > Advanced > Security > HTTPS Server), all communications with Ghostlab use HTTPS. If you are using a self-signed certificate, you will need to add certificate exceptions manually for the Ghostlab server IP with the Websocket port in Firefox and Internet Explorer / MS Edge. (You can set the port number to a fixed value in Preferences > Advanced > Networking > Websocket port.)

If you do not do that, the browsers will not show up in the client list and the synchronization will not work.
